Rehabilitation Programs Coordinator

Job Description

This is a key role in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs that enhance patient mobility, alleviate pain, increase strength, and improve or correct debilitating conditions resulting from disease or injury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in these rehabilitative programs. They will gain the trust and cooperation of patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through effective patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and clear communication.

Furthermore, the individual will adhere to all relevant regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal care.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program or hold a valid PT license. Additionally, they must possess critical thinking, complex problem-solving, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.

They should also demonstrate knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements, as well as effective and efficient professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

As an exempt employee, this role offers a competitive salary range of $61.91 to $77.38 per hour. This position also qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will work in a demanding environment, organize multiple priorities, and complete work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

They must be able to retain and apply new knowledge and skills, keep abreast of professional practice development and advancement, and effectively collaborate with colleagues and healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of recent relevant experience in physical therapy and be proficient in computer technology and required competencies.
