At Unosquare, we’re looking for a Senior Globalscape EFT / Managed File Transfer Consultant with a strong Linux SysAdmin background to join one of our enterprise clients. You’ll help modernize and optimize a large-scale file transfer environment with around 1,200 automated workflows supporting critical business operations, reducing complexity and technical debt while improving reliability and scalability.
What you’ll do
• Administer, configure, and maintain Globalscape EFT environments.
• Assess and modernize workflows, event rules, triggers, and integrations, converting legacy rules into reusable subroutines.
• Simplify workflow design, reduce rule counts, and build reusable automation frameworks.
• Monitor platform health and resolve transfer failures, workflow issues, and integration problems.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, testing, and production deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and API-based integrations.
• Configure secure file transfer (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2) and encryption (PGP, SSL/TLS, certificates).
• Create runbooks, standards, and documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams. What we’re looking for
• 5+ years administering and engineering Managed File Transfer platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Globalscape EFT Enterprise.
• Solid Linux system administration experience, plus Windows Server.
• 2+ years of applied software engineering in large enterprise environments.
• Scripting and development
skills:
Bash, Python, Java, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2.
• Knowledge of encryption technologies: PGP, SSL/TLS, certificates, and ciphers.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Understanding of change management, security, audit, and compliance standards.
• English level C1 (Advanced) and strong communication skills. Nice to have
• Globalscape EFT certification.
• Experience in financial services organizations.
• High Availability (HA) architectures.
• Large-scale workflow remediation projects.
