Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Refactor and optimize existing codebases, ensuring adherence to best practices and modern software architecture principles.
  • Collaborate with other team members, ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the platform's evolution, optimizing performance, security, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Maintain schedule flexibility to adapt to an international team dynamic.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • +2 years of experience in PHP.
  • Advanced experience in JavaScript and NodeJS.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS, including services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch and SQS.
  • Experience with database design and optimization.
  • Experience handling legacy code, refactoring, and improving existing codebases.
  • English  Advanced

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Zend, or Laravel.
  • Message/queue processing at scale (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis).
  • ReactJs.
  • Express.
  • Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
  • Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code, improving maintainability and performance.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
