The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic and operational marketing objectives of the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, producing promotional materials, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
The role contributes to enhancing brand visibility, driving audience engagement, and supporting lead generation and client acquisition efforts. By combining creativity with analytical insight, the Marketing Coordinator ensures that campaigns are not only visually appealing but also measurable, aligned with organizational goals, and capable of producing tangible results.
The Marketing Coordinator acts as a liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and clients to facilitate the smooth execution of marketing initiatives. This includes managing social media accounts, producing content, assisting with corporate events, and maintaining marketing databases. This position demands excellent communication, time management, and project coordination skills, along with proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytical reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and event-based platforms.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and communication among internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, track ROI, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Manage social media platforms, including content posting, audience engagement, and responding to inquiries or comments.
- Develop content calendars and maintain consistent messaging aligned with brand standards.
- Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral such as presentations, newsletters, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Support website content updates, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current campaigns.
- Draft internal communications and contribute to brand storytelling initiatives that reflect company values and mission.
- Support planning and execution of corporate events, webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Coordinate logistics including invitations, venue arrangements, equipment, and on-site support.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform campaign strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve outreach, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Assist with surveys, feedback collection, and analysis to enhance marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, and Operations to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Coordinate with external creative agencies, designers, photographers, and other vendors.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Digital Marketing certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, or social media marketing) are an asset.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and marketing analytics tools is desirable.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and content marketing initiatives.
- Experience coordinating campaigns, events, or promotional activities.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and campaign reporting is preferred.
- Knowledge of graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Suite is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects effectively under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, social media management tools, and marketing software.
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel to events, meetings, or client sites.
- May require flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends, for event coordination.
- Extended periods of computer use and desk work.
