About Aethos Monterosa
In the middle of the Aosta Valley, below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers, lies Aethos Monterosa – a 30-room five-star active luxury resort featuring two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are expanding the property with 20 additional rooms and are looking for an outstanding team to join us for the upcoming summer season.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Essential Support Role: Are you ready to be the backbone of the kitchen? As a Kitchen Porter, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes, and supporting chefs with basic prep tasks—playing a crucial part in the delivery of seamless service
• Hygiene & Cleanliness: Is maintaining a spotless kitchen your priority? You'll keep all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized according to strict food safety standards, helping to uphold the high hygiene standards of the restaurant
• Supporting the Team: Do you work well in a fast-paced environment? You'll assist chefs and kitchen staff by organizing deliveries, clearing and cleaning workstations, and preparing basic ingredients—ensuring the brigade can focus on cooking and plating without interruptions
• Health & Safety Compliance: Do you follow procedures to keep the kitchen safe? You'll adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues

Core Competencies:

• Basic English and Italian communication skills preferred
• Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and carry out repetitive tasks
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays
