We are seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented
Legal Counsel
to be the key legal partner for our operations in Colombia, Bolivia, and potentially other markets in Latin America. This role is central to providing strategic commercial and regulatory support for our ride-hailing and delivery services. The ideal candidate is a talented lawyer with 3-5 years of experience, a background in consulting and/or technology, and a passion for innovative business models.

Key Responsibilities:


• Commercial Law & Partnerships: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts critical to our operations, including technology licenses, strategic partnerships, marketing agreements, and vendor contracts.


• Regulatory Strategy & Compliance: Proactively monitor, analyze, and advise on the complex and evolving legal and regulatory landscape for ride-hailing, delivery, and digital platforms across the region. Develop practical compliance strategies.


• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic legal partner and trusted advisor to teams across the business, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Government Relations.


• Legal Research & Projects: Conduct in-depth legal research on international business regulations, consumer protection, and technology laws affecting platforms.


• Project Management: Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong analytical and strategic thinking.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Law degree from a recognized university. A master's degree (LL.M. or similar) is a strong plus.


• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) gained in a top-tier law firm, a leading consulting firm, and/or a fast-growing technology company.


• Strong experience in commercial law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. Experience in the technology, mobility, or delivery sectors is highly desirable.


• Language Skills: Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and full professional proficiency in English are mandatory.


• Personal Attributes: Proactive, business-oriented mindset with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Ability to balance legal risks with commercial objectives and work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed international team.
