Position Summary
As a Mid-Level Python Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance backend systems and AI-driven data applications. You'll contribute to the development of autonomous agentic workflows, machine learning model deployment, and advanced data processing pipelines. You'll work alongside a collaborative and cross-functional team, helping shape best practices and drive forward innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, scalable Python applications for data-intensive systems.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from APIs, cloud sources, and databases.
- Implement and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Design, implement, and scale Python solutions and/or agentic AI frameworks for production use.
- Take ownership of data-centric projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Collaborate, lead, and mentor junior and mid-level Python developers, providing guidance through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to build robust data solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning, implement best practices, and ensure reliability of data infrastructure with monitoring, alerting, and automated testing.
- Document system architectures, pipelines, and data schemas for internal and external use.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python development.
- 2+ years of professional experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Proven experience delivering Python-based data projects end-to-end.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT) or intelligent orchestration tools.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model deployment, and data science workflows.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Airflow, dbt, Spark, or equivalent).
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor other developers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- 1+ years of formal team management or technical leadership experience.
- Deep experience with agentic AI frameworks.
- Stored procedure optimization experience.
