The Magic That Brings Joy to the World
At NEOWIZ, we build bold, memorable games that players love—and remember. We move fast, stay curious, and care deeply about doing great work.
We're not chasing one-off hits. We invest in strong ideas, sharp execution, and teams who take ownership. The goal? Build great games—and then do it again, even better.
Across PC, console, and mobile, we're creating genre-defining experiences that push boundaries and deliver real joy.
If that sounds like your kind of mission, we'd love to meet you.
Be part of something bold—and let's build what's next.
About The Role
As a Producer supporting NEOWIZ's global publishing portfolio, you will take ownership of coordinating externally developed game titles from production through launch and post-release support. You will serve as the primary publishing interface between external development partners and NEOWIZ's internal teams, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed milestones, budgets, quality standards, and publishing objectives.
This role requires a strong balance of production judgment, communication discipline, and operational ownership. Depending on the engagement model, you will operate either as part of the NEOWIZ team through an employment arrangement or as an independent production partner under a B2B services agreement, while maintaining a consistent level of accountability and outcome ownership.
Scope of Responsibility
- You will manage relationships with assigned external development studios, acting as their primary publishing point of contact and ensuring clarity around expectations, priorities, and delivery commitments.
- You will define, track, and communicate production milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines, maintaining transparency and predictability for all stakeholders.
- You will coordinate build review cycles, assess game quality, feature completeness, and production risk, and provide structured, actionable feedback aligned with NEOWIZ's publishing and player-experience standards.
- You will proactively identify risks related to scope, schedule, quality, or dependencies, and work collaboratively with development partners and internal stakeholders to define mitigation strategies.
- You will support sprint planning, backlog management, and milestone reviews where appropriate, adapting to each partner's development methodology and maturity.
- You will work closely with internal QA, Brand, Marketing, PR, Community, Platform Relations, Analytics, and Release Management teams to support go-to-market planning, store submissions, content ratings processes, platform certification, and launch approvals.
- Following release, you will assist with post-launch planning, including updates, patches, and live-operations coordination, ensuring continuity between development partners and publishing stakeholders.
Required Experience
- You bring a minimum of five years of experience in game production, project management, or publishing-focused roles, with exposure to PC and/or console development. You have a strong understanding of end-to-end game development and publishing workflows and are comfortable assessing build quality, identifying production risks, and providing constructive, production-oriented feedback.
- You are an effective communicator with the ability to manage expectations and alignment across distributed, cross-functional teams. You are experienced with production and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent systems, and you are comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Background
- Experience working directly with external development studios or co-development partners is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with first-party platform certification processes for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam is advantageous.
- Exposure to game analytics, KPIs, and data-informed decision-making is a plus, as is knowledge of Agile production practices or formal project management frameworks.
Engagement
- This role is open under either an employment arrangement via an Employer of Record or a B2B contracting model.
- Regardless of engagement model, the role offers meaningful ownership over production outcomes, close collaboration with experienced international publishing, QA, brand, and marketing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to a diverse, global publishing portfolio.
