About the role:

As a Control Systems Engineering intern, you will report to the Control & Information System Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret functional requirements for Instrumentation & Controls Plant Systems
  • Design, document and test l&C Plant Systems used for Nuclear Power Generation Stations applications
  • You will develop l&C design specifications to meet functional requirements
  • Implement l&C hardware and software designs to meet design specifications
  • Develop design documents, test plans and procedures to demonstrate that designs meet design specifications and requirements
  • You will create and issue Field Change Notices to site to support hardware and software modifications
  • Resolve technical issues that arise during system design, implementation and site commissioning/startup
  • Support manufacturing operations to facilitate procurement, manufacturing process, testing and integration of l&C Plant Systems during Software In-Loop and Factory Acceptance Testing
  • Support field operations during site commissioning and startup activities
  • Provide cost and schedule estimates to support subject matter experts
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or nuclear engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
