Language Expert for AI Project

We are seeking an experienced Language Expert to join our team for a project focused on enhancing AI-driven speech recognition and generation capabilities.

The successful candidate will have idiomatic fluency in Spanish (LATAM) and the ability to work independently, reviewing, correcting, refining, and/or expanding pre-annotated descriptions/labels to accurately reflect voice characteristics and speech delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in linguistics or a related field, with excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in Spanish. Advanced English language skills are also required.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

  • Spanish (LATAM) fluency is essential

  • Qualification test: 25 minutes estimated duration

  • Location: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, or Uruguay

  • Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in Spanish

  • Advanced English language skills

  • Degree in linguistics or related field (phonetics, phonology, speech pathology, etc.)

  • Phonetics/phonology expertise preferred

  • Data analysis, labelling, speech/text-to-speech technology, and/or audio annotation experience considered a plus

  • Familiarity with online annotation tools preferred

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work

  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

  • Interest in language technologies
