Phlebotomy Specialist

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Phlebotomy Technician to join our team.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for collecting blood specimens, receiving and processing them for laboratory testing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens from patients in a timely and efficient manner
• Receive, sort, and accession specimens for laboratory testing
• Operate pre-analytic lab equipment and perform quality control tasks
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or II certification
• 1 year of recent relevant experience in phlebotomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $32.56 to $40.69 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment:

This role is full-time, with 8 hours worked per shift, and Monday to Friday schedule. Weekend work may be required.
