We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to join our team in the Special Procedure Suite.
Job SummaryThis role involves delivering high-quality patient care, developing competence through structured work assignments, and coordinating interdisciplinary plans of care. As a Staff Nurse II, you will assess, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for patients in assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Develop, implement, and manage optimal interdisciplinary plans of care that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution prior to start date.
- A valid RN registration in the state where care is provided prior to start date.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
You should possess:
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local/state/federal regulations.
- Possess written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook), Electronic Health Record (EPIC preferred).
